Equinox Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) is a powerful and unique treatment that is non-invasive, pain-free, and stress-free. It is a proven treatment for Meibomian Gland Disease/Dry Eye Disease as well as treatments of styes and chalazion (cysts) of the eyelids.
LLLT uses an optimized wavelength which is absorbed by the mitochondria (the “power house” of the cell) and results in meibomian glands repair and regeneration, a process called PhotoBioModulation.
